Will the development of Teconmoon continue or will someone else take over the development?

Good day,

I was wondering if development on Teconmoon will continue? It’s been almost three years since the last update, and several people have contributed to the source code via pull requests in hopes of a new update.

Additionally, version 3.0.17 is experiencing injection issues with the Wii Homebrew Forwarder, which isn’t performing the injection correctly.

In case development of Teconmoon is not continuing, is there already someone in the community who wants to take over development, or will it be left in limbo?

The latest official update was around 3 years ago, back in 2024.

There was also a huge pull request submitted by @QuzarDC in 2024 that fixed many issues and added several improvements:

Unfortunately, it was never merged.

Because of that, I decided to create my own fork of the project. I've been working on improving and fixing the injector, modernizing parts of the codebase via vibe coding, and releasing new updates:

If @piratesephiroth ever decides to archive the original project, redirect users to active forks, or transfer ownership, I’d be happy to help maintain the project and continue its development.

I barely even remember making any changes to this project. I believe my fork was to modularize the code base, and try to apply some more modern standards since the foundation of the code was following the standards from ~2005. I believe I split things up to follow MVC design from 2015, so it's a bit better. One of the issues is that I do upgrade the project all the way to .NET Framework 4.8.1, which I don't recommend because you would drop support for Windows 7 and I believe Windows 8 (but not 8.1....?). Some of the changes I made to the Nintendont menu don't actually work, like being able to load up a nincfg file and save on top of it or something like that. I made the changes to the Nintendont Menu to add it to UWUVCI, but I instead made a fork of that and wrote the entire Nintendont Menu from scratch. Personally, I would recommend starting over from scratch or using Visual Studio's migration functionality to bring it to .NET so it can be taken off of .NET Framework.
