Hey @chrismccord @josevalim I know that #69 has been open for some time, but I'm not sure where things stand with it and how it works. In any case, I recently opened up FlamePeer (Hex link) which implements a :peer based backend, I'd be happy to contribute it back to FLAME itself but I didn't want to open a duplicate PR or step on anyone's toes accidentally.
