Flexible Template System

Phlox includes a template system for structuring clinical notes. Templates consist of fields that can be customized with prompts, formatting rules, and persistence settings

Features

  • Create and customize templates with configurable fields
  • Version control for tracking template changes
  • Generate templates automatically from example notes
  • Share templates between users

Template Fields

Fields can be configured with:

  • System prompts to guide AI output
  • Format specifications (bullets, numbers, narrative)
  • Persistence flags to carry forward information
  • Required/optional status
  • Post-processing refinement rules

Using Templates

Create Template

  1. Go to "Templates" section
  2. Click "Create New Template"
  3. Add and configure fields
  4. Save template

Generate from Example

  1. Select "Generate Template from Example"
  2. Paste in example note
  3. Review and adjust generated template

Apply Template

  1. Choose template when creating note
  2. Template fields guide AI generation
  3. Review and edit content
