If your mrefd reflector is properly registered with dvref.com, you should be listed in the M17_Hosts.txt file by the next day. Here is the current M17 host file for PiStar https://www.pistar.uk/downloads/DExtra_Hosts.txt. If your reflector is listed here, your registration was successful. I think WPSD uses this same file. Users of either package should see this file whenever they update, usually nightly. You can manually update either software package anytime. |

I'm trying to find out who updates the M17 host file. I have set up a reflector, registered it and it's live. (Great job with the installation instructions by the way!) I checked the hostfile and it hasn't been updated since February. I reached out to DVRef thinking it was maintained by them at time of registration but was told it's handled by the app/ software. Can you point me in the right direction?
