Module Federation’s current output format is:

• remoteEntry
• the JS files for exposed modules
• the JS files for shared modules

remoteEntry is the entry file. It does not include all exposed exports by default.

For shared dependencies, you can set eager: true if you want the shared code to be bundled into remoteEntry.

For exposes and shared modules, you can also configure chunk splitting so they are emitted into the specific JS files you want.

So currently MF is not designed to generate everything into one single file by default. The output is split between the entry file, exposed module files, and shared files.
