Custom domain failing to create acme challenge

It's been stuck like this for a while. I did have a previous deployment/site a couple days ago I wiped because it was in a completely bugged state on Mintlify (editor trashed the entire content, no deployments were working, nothing was recoverable), but now it seems like just wanting to use a custom domain is also bugged...

I can add other subdomains without issue, just this one specific subdomain is failing. Tried to re-add it multiple times too.

This is kind of a blocker since I can't deploy without the domain properly configured, but I also can't configure the domain. So I have to disable the custom domain, for now.
