Support placing Badges by page title

Is there any way to add a Badge that appears next to the name of an API, both in the sidebar and in the actual page itself? I need to label APIs with the version in which they were introduced to our platform, and the nicest way is to use Badges — but I can’t seem to put them where I need them.

I’ve tried using the tag option in the frontmatter, and it’s better than nothing, but I have no control over color and I can’t place the badge next to the title in the page itself.

The attached image shows the placement I’m talking about (but the appearance should be similar to the <Badge> element). Ignore the sidebar items that have a tag on them. The idea is to use <Badge>s there instead, similar to this mockup.
