I like the new Shopmag template, looks really slick with the new default content. However it doesn't perform well in GTmetrix, it would be so much better if the images were optimised.
Tinypng.com was able to reduce image byte sizes between 76% and 87%, the largest image at nearly 800KB was reduced to 146KB. All these large image file sizes contribute to a total page size of 4.5MB compressed.
If the images in the default content were optimised the template would load faster and give a much better impression to those interested in performance. It might then achieve a good LCP score, which is one of Google's Core Web Vitals.
