Multiple image preview for asset groups

When I have an asset group (card) of more than one image - I will probably want to preview all of the images within that group somehow.

For example, a group of illustrations:

Ideas for how this might be handled:

• Left/right buttons that switch thumbnails.
• Scrubbing thumbnails on hover/touch event.
• A button that reveals all images layed out in an overlay.

Couldn't find an example of the left-right scrubbing behaviour, but this is a similar approach used on the Walker website.
