Why not using rsync like ShiromMakkad/docker-pihole-sync does?

I'm running Pi-hole in Docker but planning on moving them to LXC containers in a Proxmox cluster.

To sync my Pi-holes I use the docker-pihole-sync tool (A Docker Container To Sync Two Piholes) from @ShiromMakkad.

This tool is using rsync to sync the config (All settings) and not requiring stopping the secondary server after each sync.

Perhaps this project could implement this as a sync option!?
