Hi,

Can we have a few things maybe added?

• pings to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 for example
  Could be useful to see network congestion
• I/O latency from the storage device
  Would be helpful to detect noisy neighbours

This is already planned; it will be fully configurable (destinations, frequency, timeouts and protocol (ICMP/TCP/UDP)), and there will be graphs with packet loss and latency. However, this will be a major change, as this will require variable-length datapoints and significant changes both in the agent and server, so this will most likely take quite some time until it's released.

Do you mean passive measurements (like calculating the average time spent per IO operation from /proc/diskstats, which would, however, have the problem that the values might be larger without any real problem if there simply are more writes/reads with larger blocksizes that naturally take longer, but doing stats for time spent per read/written sector won't work well either because large writes are much faster per sector, so I think this might be a bit misleading), or active measurements (like writing/reading data every few seconds and measuring how long it takes, but this could, however, have the issue of causing unnecessary disk wear)?
