As per a reply from a support agent, the standalone Network Application is now deprecated and they are migrating towards bundling all the applications inside one (like Cloud Keys). Here are the Unifi OS Server release notes.

Reason for change

Upstream might force it at some point.
The standalone versions are not even listed at their official download pages: https://www.ui.com/download

Having looked at the Unifi OS installer package. It's not something we will be packaging into a container. Their installer is an orchestration platform using podman.

They've not stopped releasing the network application just yet but when they stop pushing releases, this container will more than likely be retired.

Unifi is the entity with that info.

Please be aware that there is no provenance for the base image that repo is using. The readme claims it's been extracted from the UnifiOS installer but there's no evidence to support that and no way for any user to verify that it hasn't been altered.

We would strongly advise people not to run images with opaque build processes, from untrusted 3rd parties.
