Tips on how to cut the token usage of firstmate?

Is there a way I can optimize our token consumption? I currently only have access to 5x Claude plan, so I’d like to make sure I am using the available token budget as efficiently as possible.

I currently using opus 5 for creating the plan and then sonnet 4.6 for implementing the plan
