Atom validator - GetSpatialDataset media-type application/x-shapefile

The definition of the media-type "application/x-shapefile" states that a shapefile shall be provided in a zip archive. Doesn't that mean that the content-type 'application/zip' should be accepted for datasets of the media-type 'application/x-shapefile' from the validator?!

In my opinion the right type is media/x-shapefile, which of course must allow the .zip implementation.

In this context I would like to know where the RSSFeed of the JRC can be found, which media types can be used with INSPIRE?
