Unable to install macOS27 beta 1 in VB 2.2beta

I'm running the latest VB 2.2 beta on Tahoe 26.5.1 on an M4 MBP and I've not been successful to install macOS 27 beta 1 in a VM. The install log ends with a crash and a bunch of network errors, happy to send the entire log.

Those logs are not helpful unfortunately (mobile install logs can be quite noisy, so a lot of stuff is completely irrelevant). Please be sure to check out this discussion if you have not checked it yet, as it contains lots of details and potential workarounds.

Many thanks Guillermo, installing and running Xcode 27 beta on the host macOS26.5.1 system solved the problem. Odd that the Xcode 27 release notes state completely the opposite !! Under Known Issues it states "If you installed Xcode 27 beta on macOS Tahoe 26.5.1 and earlier, macOS virtual machine installation will fail due to a known bug."
