Which version of QDMR are you running? Function keys and other device specific settings can be set by enabling Settings -> Extensions -> Show device extensions and then Extensions -> anytone -> keySettings, recent versions display the device extensions by default (There was one recent fix discussed in #768) If Settings -> Programming -> Update Codeplug is set (which is the default), QDMR will only update fields it knows about and leave the rest as is, see tooltip for that setting |

Anytone extensions were introduced in https://github.com/hmatuschek/qdmr/releases/tag/v0.11.3 -- what distribution are you running QDMR on? If it is an older one lacking Qt6, last QDMR version you could try is https://github.com/hmatuschek/qdmr/releases/tag/v0.12.3 What firmware version are your Anytone devices running? Support for 878 firmware 4.0 was added in https://github.com/hmatuschek/qdmr/releases/tag/v0.15.0 but Anytone 3.x firmware works fine with older QDMR versions. |

First, let me say I love the qdmr software and its ability to run on linux! I now can have all my radios supported on one OS environment and can get away from windows.
I have a couple of questions about the Anytones.
Will or can qdmr support programming the function keys? IF it doesn't, if you write the codeplug from qdmr will it overwrite any already programmed pfx keys or will they remain?
Do you have any plans to add support for the other features on each of the Anytone radios like the pfx keys or some of the other features?
I would love to help support development of qdmr, but my C++ is very rusty...but I can always remember.
Thanks,
Lyle
