Migrate away from Osmdroid

Osmdroid is no longer supported (s. their repository https://github.com/osmdroid/osmdroid). This is bad. A similarly simple and open source library has to be found, which can replace Osmdroid with as little effort as possible.

Task of this issue: Look at some frameworks and libraries, try things out and evaluate which might be the best.

Speaking as an OSMer and F-droid user, I think that most F-droid apps either develop their own widget or use Maplibre Native (see also this list). Maplibre does not run on very old devices, because it requires OpenGL ES 3.0. The very popular OSM editor StreetComplete recently switched to Maplibre from Tangram (which is not developed further and had limitations).

PinPoi embeds a web page with Leaflet downloaded from leaflet.github.io.

Pocket Maps uses Mapsforge but I did not check if the widget is offline-only or also supports online tile servers.
