Compiling fails

I try to compile cronolog as there is an issue with symlink on my plattform. Configure shows me an error:

./configure
configure: error: cannot find sources (bootstrap) in . or ..

How do I properly compile cronolog?

apt-get install cronolog on Debian will install the v1.6.2 version. I have tested that once you use the commit of v1.6.2, everything seems good.

I did install with apt-get and there is version 1.6.2 on my plattform. But symlink is not working how it did before debian upgrade. That's why I was going to compile on my plattform to see if this will fix the problem.

The configure.ac file lists the unique file to look for as "bootstrap" which does not exist. I changed it to "configure.ac" in my fixed & enhanced version: https://github.com/WayneD/cronolog

If you tweak that yourself, be sure to run "autoconf" and "automake" before trying to run configure again.
