How to access pcv.annotate functionality from the SAM tutorial?

Following the SAM tutorial and would like to use the pcv.annotate functionality shown . However, I cannot access pcv.annotate after installing the latest PlantCV version.

Could you please clarify how I can install/access the annotation functionality? Is it available only in a specific PlantCV version or branch?

Hello! PlantCV-Annotate is a sub package that needs to be installed separately. You can clone the GitHub repository here: https://github.com/danforthcenter/plantcv-annotate and follow the instructions for installation for contributors from the PlantCV documentation here: https://docs.plantcv.org/en/stable/CONTRIBUTING/#installing

Briefly, that will involve running pip install -e . in the cloned PlantCV-Annotate repo folder.
