Description
Text selection inside PDF files does not work correctly on macOS. Dragging over PDF text does not reliably select the intended text, which makes copying, highlighting, and asking the AI about a selected passage difficult.
Steps to reproduce
- Open ReadAny on macOS.
- Import and open a PDF containing selectable text.
- Drag the cursor over a sentence or paragraph.
- Observe that the intended text cannot be selected reliably.
Expected behavior
PDF text should be selectable accurately so it can be copied, highlighted, or used as context in the AI chat.

- Device: Mac mini M4 (Apple Silicon)
- App version: 1.3.5
