What is your mission statement or objective for this new group?
Cloud Native Sukkur aims to bring together students, developers, engineers, educators, and technology professionals from the Sukkur region who are interested in learning and building with cloud-native and open-source technologies.
We want to create a friendly and practical space where people can learn from each other, share their experiences, work on real-world projects, and grow together, regardless of whether they are just starting their journey or already working professionally.
Through regular meetups, hands-on workshops, study groups, technical talks, and open-source activities, we plan to explore technologies and practices such as Kubernetes, containers, DevOps, cloud platforms, GitOps, observability, cloud-native security, microservices, automation, and other emerging areas of the cloud-native ecosystem.
A key part of our goal is to help students and early-career engineers connect what they learn in the classroom with how these technologies are actually used in the industry. At the same time, we want experienced practitioners to have a place to share their knowledge, mentor others, and learn from the community themselves.
We are going to build a sustainable, inclusive, and vendor-neutral community where people from Sukkur can connect with the wider global cloud-native and open-source community, contribute to open source, and create more opportunities for local technology talent to grow
