As of 2026 CNCG organizers are encouraged to improve the Cloud Native Computing Foundation’s (CNCF) documentation, automation, and resources by submitting Pull Requests (PRs) to this repository.
- Eligibility: Organizers with multiple merged PRs may request maintainer status with triage rights.
- Scope: This role focuses on repository health, automations, and additional best practices event-management documentation.
NOTE: This role does not grant authority over CNCG governance, chapter approvals, or organizer selections. In other words, maintainers do not control or have impact around the acceptance or management of CNCG meetups.
- Conduct: Abuse of privileges will result in immediate revocation by CNCF staff.
If one feels they can no longer contribute to the CNCG repository, they can simply create an issue in this same repository with their resignation.
