UX: The user experience for the map is not optimal #139

Description

@samuel-duhaime

Issue

Justification

Users don't understand the map widget (mostly because they don't read the widget). Almost all of them had some problems with the map widget.

There are two types of users.

First user flow: doesn't click on the map

  1. Respond to the address question
  2. Doesn't see the 'search button'
  3. Doesn't confirm the localisation
  4. They have an error when they try to go to the next section because the localisation is not confirmed
  5. They don't understand what to do, because they don't read the question

Second user flow: click on the map immediately

  1. Doesn't fill the address question
  2. Click on the map to put a localisation
  3. They have an error when they try to go to the next section (or maybe a bit before) because the zoom is not precise enough.
  4. They don't understand what to do, because they don't read the question

Description

For the first user flow, I think a better autocomplete could help them, and the search button should be clearer. We should just implement what Google does.
Image

For the second user flow, we should put the zoom correctly in default. Right now, they have to Zoom 2 or 3 times before we accept it.

Possible implementation

Check this Evolution issue for the implementation.
