The pydata libraries and sklearn use a tool called airspeed velocity to test computational performance and memory consumption. This subject is beyond my current domain (and low on my personal list of priorities), but I do find it interesting, and I think we might need to do this kind of testing when the project gets more serious, so I'm bookmarking it here in case I revisit the subject or if anyone else wants to pick it up.
