Is it a typo in this post or did you accidentally write "alr" instead of "alt" in your code? It should be with a T at the end.

If not, what browser are you using? Some browsers use hotkeys themselves and they are then never passed to the application and can thus not be captured.

Yeah sorry it was a typo, I am using google chrome I want to use up arrow and down arrow part of hotleys
