Screen Capture [ SNAPSHOT ] Focused Application

This is the best visualizer but it has one annoyance even when toggle capturing is off.

The program remains active and steals the focused application name in auto saving and auto file naming. E.g Greenshot and others.

Issue: Toggle Capture is not true Disable. It only hides visualisation and the application still poles and is always focused after any input. This creates compatibility issues that cannot be avoided without exiting the application.

Steps:

1. Toggle Capturing = On > PrtSc Button Press = [ SNAPSHOT ]
2. Toggle Capturing = Off > Visualization Disabled
3. Open a Facebook tab in Google Chrome.
4. Press PrtSc Button
5. File is automatically saved as 2026-07-28 11_10_12-KeyCastOW.png and NOT 2026-07-28 11_10_12-Facebook.png

Without KeyCastOW running the screenshot application names every source of their capture correctly.

Expected Behaviour
Toggle Capturing with Hotkey stops input poling and stealing focus or top most application.

I do not think this would be difficult to fix in code or could use a stub.
As toggling does not work for now I will probably need to make a kill application and launch application using my own shortcuts.

Update: I have discovered if I put visualization on another screen (Display 2) the screenshot naming works as normal on my default screen (Display 1). This is still not ideal as it's not really where I want the visualization placed. A fix would still be good here as moving the position to another screen to take a screenshot is too much work and effort. You maybe could add another routine in 'Toggle Capture' that moves the visualisation position off the current desktop display location as it's not seen anyways and when toggled off and move it back when toggled on. You could even add profile to load different settings files with different configurations.

Using windows spy I see the transparent window used for setting the position with become invisible never gets destroyed or hidden.

The sequence appears to be:

Toggle OFF (Win+C)
Stops drawing.
Does not destroy or hide the transparent overlay window.
The transparent window still occupies a large rectangle as visualizations are in bottom right corner.

Screenshot software asks Windows:

"What window is under the cursor?"

Windows replies:

"KeyCastOW"

Hence the screenshot name becomes KeyCastOW.png.

So the real bug is:

Toggle Capture disables rendering but does not remove or hide the overlay window.

Update: Update: Update.

I just realised that this app is Window 10 but I am running it in Window 7 with VxKex so the bug may not exist in Window 10+

I am experimenting with WinSetExStyle "-0x20" but can confirm that with the app cycles and forces the window position on visualisation updates when capturing but when capturing is disable, it can be moved and stays put until enable and it snaps back to it offset.
