No module named Allosaurus

Every time I try to install from disk on the "Get Extensions", I get the error "no module named Allosaurus
Using Blender 4.2

Make sure you download from https://github.com/blackears/parrotLipsync/releases instead of the zip file for the source code.

The release zip file contains the wheels that include Allosaurus and the other necessary files.

I don't see the release zip file for ubuntu/linux. Do you have instructions on how I can create zip file containing wheels for linux?

The ubuntu/linux file ended up being about 2Gb, so Github wouldn't let me upload it. There is a Getting the Wheels section toward the end of the home page, but basically python ./make.py -w should download the wheels you need. Read the build section to build your own, or you can purchase a built version from https://blendermarket.com/products/parrot-lipsync

make.py doesn't work anymore. I'm now using the github workflow action to compile it:

I think there are ways to run that locally, but I've never done that before.

i did download a released linux artifact, i even did pip install allosaurus --break-system-packages

What error are you getting?

Allosaurus should be included in the wheels. Not sure why it's not being found.

Make sure to install it as an Extension in Blender and not an addon. Blender has two install systems now.
