the widget date is 1 day behind

2 updates ago, a problem appeared - the date in the widget is 1 day less than the real date. The last update did not change anything.

I started to have the same problem with my widget. I tap the refresh button and the current date flashes but returns to the previous day's date. I am on the latest beta from the play store.

I've encountered the same problem while abroad. My widget has Other Settings > Lock Time Zone ticked. I'm locked to BST (gmt+1) but I'm in Italy (gmt+2) and its showing today as 6 Sep (but it's 7 Sep) and all events are showing one day too early. If I switch off Lock Time Zone, the problem is resolved (but all events show in gmt+2, while I want them to show as gmt+1).

I just commented on this issue on another thread as i also found since google pixel updates about sept 2025... The date on widget header does not update anymore....

As @Grahamphodson noted, sometimes the date can be changed.
And it looks like the problem is in a widget header not updated correctly, recently we noticed that the "widget header" layout part cannot be hidden/shown reliably (see #190)

So we need to figure out how to tell a Launcher app to update it...

For me, the date in header is now systematically 1 day behind, or blinking between yesterday and today. A phone restart fixes this.
