When printing the 45mm short top/bottom shell and reassembling the stock Ploopy Adept sensor/bowl/PCB/ball into them, along with the recommended Rexroth BTUs, the sensing is somewhat distorted. Rolling straight to the right results in an obvious, upward curve. The sensor also jumps and loses sight of the ball frequently. The buttons also press much more easily, suggesting there is less vertical space inside than stock. A 44mm ball jostles around between the BTUs and seems like it would require additional spacers, which is unusual since this otherwise works fine in the stock Adept with the MR63ZZs.
I thought this was all operator error or printer misconfiguration, but I have since printed the 45mm BTU top shell for the stock Ploopy bottom shell (long version) and put the BTUs into it, and that version works flawlessly.
