Keyboard Layouts with Dead Keys are Broken

Describe the bug
When using a keyboard layout with dead keys, Walker does not seem to recognize symbols that need to be input by combining/double-clicking keys.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Pick a keyboard layout with dead keys
2. Try inputting any of the symbols that require dead keys
3. There is no input recognized

Expected behavior
It should simply accept the input as intended
