Describe the bug
When using Walker on my Microslop Surface Go 2, I can scroll the list of items by dragging my finger across the item box, but tapping and double-tapping doesn't trigger the item activation. However, after moving my mouse cursor using a touchpad on the attached TypeCover, all further touchscreen input events are registered with no issue and tapping an item (with single_click_activation = true) activates it.
I have reproduced identical behaviour on both latest stable versions of Niri and Hyprland.
Configs
any
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open Walker
- Tap any of the items using the touchscreen (should not work)
- Move the mouse cursor across the screen
- Tap (or double-tap depending on config) any of the items using the touchscreen (should activate the item)
Expected behavior
Item is activated after being tapped using the touchscreen regardless of mouse inputs.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: NixOS 26.05 "Yarara"
- Walker version: 2.16.2 installed with home-manager
- Elephant version: 2.21.0 installed with home-manager
