[Issue] awesome_wotlk client modification and this addon crashes on opening bot inventory

Description *

The crash is caused by this addon when using a modified wow.exe - feel free to close this if it is out of scope to support.

Using this module + awesome_wotlk makes the client crash when having a bot open its inventory.

Considering the awesome_wotlk modifies the client .exe this could be a low priority / difficult issue to trouble shoot.

However, the previous multibot addon did not have any issues so it seems this addon are making some calls that makes the client crash when modified.

Steps to reproduce

Modify wow.exe using https://github.com/noname08662/awesome_wotlk

Ask bot to open inventory

Expected behavior *

not crash, addon should not interact in a way that is hazardous to the client.

What client have you patched? ChromieCraft_3.3.5a?

I've tried the HD Client (ChromieCraft) and also a "normal" wow.exe - so the issue comes from the awsome_wotlk exe patch.

fwiw I'm also running awesome-wotlk (on linux in wine mind you) and I didn't run into this error. I could open the inventory without any issue. I'm using a clean wow client on which I applied awesome wotlk.

Interesting, I tried to patch a clean client to test and still crashes with latest addon + bridge.
Windows client.

Just confirmed with a clean ChromieCraft client and latest version of Awsome_wotlk.

@nrb0 - what version of awesome_wotlk are you running?

@Badgermilk0 good catch, I didn't pickup that there might be multiple versions of awesome wotlk, I'm running the original one (https://github.com/FrostAtom/awesome_wotlk).

I just tried with the one that you mentioned and I can indeed repro the crash.

Sorry for missing that, at least I can confirm your crash can be reproduce on a totally different setup.
