Most of my day is cloud infrastructure: building it, breaking it, making it survive the next region rollout. The rest is whatever side project has caught my attention — currently a fair bit of Rust and Tauri, and a homelab that refuses to stay quiet for long.
A small warning: don't ask me about the homelab or my Pokémon Go mapping times unless you've blocked off the afternoon — I genuinely won't stop talking.
- Python
- Rust
- PHP (yes, I'm one of those guys)
- AWS
- GCP
- Terraform (yes, even my homelab)
- AWS CDK
- CDK-Terrain
- Tauri
- Vue.js
- PostgreSQL
- MariaDB
- MongoDB
- BigQuery
- DynamoDB
- InfluxDB
- AWS Timestream
I'd rather start building than discuss it twice. If something looks unsolvable, I'll keep tinkering until it isn't — possibly with a slight overengineering streak. The quickest way to frustrate me is a meeting that ends without an outcome.
Scalable systems, multi-region deployments, and the parts of reliability nobody talks about because they're not glamorous. Also: figuring out which problems actually need scale and which ones just need to be solved properly the first time.
