Violation of restrictions - to use online EXIF viewer

To check whether the photo has location stored in it, I need to use online EXIF viewer. but it is not allowed for PE

The link is also not working in the UG.

I am not able to test any features relating to photos

You can check if the photo has meta data without using an online tool itself (inbuilt in all major OS).

Also, if the image you are trying to upload does not have meta data, our program will elegantly inform you that it doesn't and as such it is not compatible: This image has no meta data.

Reason for disagreement: Thank you for your response! After having more time at home to read up on meta data and use the phone camera to take photos with meta data and location, i have tested the product again and found that their feature of adding photos is clear of any obvious flaws/bugs and work as intended.

However, it is still true that the UG did not provide the necessary guidance and is in clear violation of the product requirement by teaching team (no phones allowed, no access to any other internet sites apart from the permitted websites), I propose to change the bug type to Documentation bug. This is because the UG's links do not work and that the UG does not provide the user with the clear steps to find for meta data or explain what meta data is. Leaving users confused when faced with the problem of being unable to add photos. The UG also did not state that we could check the meta data without using an online tool. That is why I do not believe that the issue is not in scope.

Reason for disagreement: Thank you but i believe low is not a good severity for this bug. The severity should be Medium.

As mentioned above, I would like to change the bug to a documentation bug instead. I believe that many users will be confused by the bug due to not knowing what meta data is as it is not explained in the UG. This would lead to users being confused about what photos that can and cannot be used in the feature. I believe that it is not a rare occurrence as meta data is not a commonly used term especially for those that do not learn about it in school.
