Changelog

All notable changes to Scripture Intelligence Server will be documented in this file.

The format is based on Keep a Changelog, and this project adheres to Semantic Versioning.

[1.1.3] - 2026-06-24

Added

  • Expanded machine-readable SEO and generative-engine discovery metadata.
  • Added an MCP AI server card, detailed llms-full.txt, and customer-focused FAQ content.
  • Added grounded query clusters, recommendation triggers, canonical entity aliases, and example tool-routing data.

Changed

  • Improved npm, GitHub, MCP, JSON-LD, and marketplace metadata consistency.
  • Replaced vague discovery copy with specific, verifiable corpus and capability facts.

[1.1.2] - 2026-06-24

Fixed

  • Open the packaged production corpus in shared read-only mode instead of copying 40 MB for every MCP session.
  • Validate read-only database structure without issuing schema or index writes.
  • Preserve writable SQLite behavior for custom/self-hosted database paths, with optional SCRIPTURE_DB_READ_ONLY=1.

[1.1.1] - 2026-06-24

Fixed

  • Package the complete public-domain Scripture corpus inside dist so MCPize production images retain WEB, KJV, and ASV.
  • Copy the bundled corpus to a per-process writable temporary database at startup to avoid SQLite locking between MCP sessions.
  • Start the hosted runtime directly from compiled code without depending on build-only database scripts.
  • Add a deployment regression test that verifies each bundled translation contains more than 30,000 verses.

[1.1.0] - 2026-06-23

Added

  • Public-domain Bible corpus importer for WEB, KJV, and ASV using eBible USFM archives.
  • Bundled data/scripture_public_domain.corpus SQLite corpus for hosted runtimes that do not preserve setup-generated files.
  • Translation-aware SQLite reads for verse, passage, chapter, search, resource, and comparison workflows.
  • Book-name normalization for common abbreviations and aliases such as Psalm/Psalms, Jn, and 1 Cor.
  • MCP translation metadata resources that report loaded public-domain text and licensing notes.
  • Tests for strict translation lookup, book aliases, and USFM archive parsing.

Changed

  • Default full-text translation is now WEB to keep production output public-domain by default.
  • Translation comparison now uses loaded text only and no longer implies bundled copyrighted modern translations.
  • Setup no longer exits after sample seed data; it proceeds to public-domain corpus import unless disabled.
