[Feature] Fit main preview vertically when aspect ratio less than 1

I creating titles for a vertical video (shorts), but the main preview screen remains fitted horizontally, even when zoomed out. So, to see the entire frame, I have to constantly switch to video view (player).

Suggestion: if the frame aspect ratio is vertical (meaning the long side is vertical), fit the preview image vertically as well.

Your suggestion is just in time for inclusion into 1.9.0 (ideally), which will likely release in a couple of weeks :)

If I understood you correctly, being able to zoom out the preview past the current minimum (which is hit when exactly the entire width of the credits is shown) would solve your problem, right? When zooming out past this point, gray bars would appear to the left and right of a your credits, which in turn would shrink to a thin column.

Ah! I was thinking only about Card Type Behavior and forget about Roll Type...

Let me clarify:
Frame Aspect Ratio = frame width (px) / frame height (px)
If longest video side is vertical side (height), then aspect ratio will be always less than 1.
For example: 1080px/1920px = 0,5625

For Card its easy, then zooming out, just let frame fit by height, not width (like now).
For Roll, i think this feature is irrelevant, but i still think maybe its worth to try fit by height (not overall roll height, but height of the frame).
