Using the cloudstack release distributed with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (cloudstack 4.22.1.0) and Linstor (1.34.0) as primary storage. Reverting the snapshot of a ROOT encrypted volume result in a non bootable VM.
The steps to reproduce the bug
create a VM instance
once up, shutdown the instance
snapshot ROOT volume of instance
revert the snapshot to owning volume
try boot the VM
Booting from Hard Disk
Boot failed : not a bootable disk
Any idea if it may be due to misconfiguration somewhere or if it's actually a missing feature ?
Best Regards, Freddy.
