Login Exponential Backoff

When instantiating a lot of sessions using this, all of them seem to wait for 10 seconds before seemingly retrying to authenticate. Would it be possible for that delay to be an exponential back off with a random amount of time added to it? Also, are pull requests welcome?

This should really be implemented, it would help with logging in quite a bit.

I agree with this discussion thread, the login should really include exponential backoff, it would save a lot of hassle on my end
