Stuck on swupdate

I'm running the program from Linux. My shell has been hanging like this for over 20 minutes. I don't know if this is a genuine hang or just the 5 minute estimate being way off.

Update: eventuallty, I shut down my reMarkable by force. When I turned it back on, the downgrade had worked! It seems the process was successful, it only appeared to be stuck. Again, not sure if this is intentional or not.
