I wonder how to interpret "natural state" in the hilucs value 6_3_NaturalAreasNotInOtherEconomicUse https://inspire.ec.europa.eu/codelist/HILUCSValue/6_3_NaturalAreasNotInOtherEconomicUse. The definition is "Areas which are in natural state and not in other economic use.". Does that include areas that are maintained, like a lawn? Or is "natural" something that is "untouched by humans"? I am for example thinking of how to class mowed grass around infrastructure like this one:

Dear @Helena-LK , I am not a domain expert, so I labeled this discussion "community input wanted" to encourage contributions from others. To my understanding, however, 'natural state' refers to areas that largely retain their natural characteristics with minimal human influence. Managed green spaces, such as lawns, parks, and mowed grass around infrastructure, are actively maintained and strictly associated with human-made structures, e.g., for aesthetic or functional purposes. Therefore, they should not be considered "natural state" under HILUCS 6_3, which is reserved for areas that are mostly self-regulating and not actively managed by humans.
