When I'm sending files, I usually just want to chuck the file into the browser and grab the link as quickly as possible, otherwise I'm just sitting for an awkward amount of time waiting for the upload to complete. When uploading a large file, it can sometimes take a few minutes before the upload completes and a link is generated. All of this represents time where I have to still pay attention to the person requesting a file from me. As soon as I get the link, that attention can be de-allocated so that I can focus on other things.
Describe the solution you'd like
When you upload a file, it would be good to immediately list it in the file list with the ability to grab the download link or the hotlink before it finishes actually uploading. Ideally this link will allow a simultaneous download of the file as it is being uploaded, but it's also workable to have it present a "Please Wait" page while the file is still uploading.

The goal of this feature is to streamline one very common user story with this software. Someone asks you for a large file so you start uploading it in the browser. As the file is uploading, you're left with an awkward amount of time to kill where you can't fully dismiss this task, but you also can't really focus on anything else until you can send a link.
