Codeberg provides built-in migration tool, which preservs all of the metadata(https://docs.codeberg.org/advanced/migrating-repos/ ).
Steps would include migration itself, marking this repo as inactive in README and description and archiving the repo.
Rationale
Avoid shadow bans for some user categories, making contribution easier; avoid things like ads in pull requests(https://windowsreport.com/github-copilot-reportedly-injects-promotional-content-into-pull-requests/ ) in the future; shorten dependence on Microsoft; probably more
