Can't login with Linux appimage/Mastodon

Using the 1.5.0 appimage on Linux. When I try to login to tabletop social a new tab opens in my browser with the standard choice of Autorize/Deny. Clicking on the former does nothing.

AppImage requires a desktop entry in order to handle the OAuth deeplink, you need to create a desktop entry when using Flare, or use some tools to install Flare such as Gear Lever.

The desktop entry should handle the scheme flare and pass the raw data to Flare.

I mean the desktop entry should contains MimeType=x-scheme-handler/flare and Exec should by pass the args to Flare, if you don't know how to, you can just use Gear Lever to install Flare.
