Pins stack

Often, a bunch of pins have exactly the same geolocation, and thus stack with no indication that it's occurring.

Thought: add a slight randomness to pins to space them just a tad apart?

If 2 pins are stacked, what about showing a little "+1" icon on the top pin or something like that as a visual indicator that that pin is covering others?

For pins that are stacked or really tightly packed it is pretty hard to click the ones in the background. Is it possible to have pins "separate" when you mouse over them? So they are normally like the current version, but when you mouse over it prevents stacked pins. Only the current pin is guaranteed to be in the correct map location then, though the others will be close.

I don't know what is in the realm of possibility, but that just seemed nifty.

That sounds awesome. Actually, it would be cool if the pins would "open" on mouseover, and clicking only pinned them open - it gets tedious to open and close all of the pins to do a quick look-through.
