Some examples in the TFS take a significant amount of time to run, making the regression tests time-consuming. Four models, in particular, have noticeably longer simulation times:
Simulation time (descending order)
- Heat pump: 94s
- Reverse heat pump: 74s
- Espresso Machine: 45s
- Vapor Cycle: 32s
- Simple engine: 3s
- Simple air cycle: 0.7s
- Simple stream, Simple gas turbine, Simple cooling cycle, Water hammer, Venturi pump: <0.1s
Potential Causes
- Poorly tuned controllers
- Suboptimal initialization conditions
- Excessive state events
