let's dispatch some sub-agents to handle a few different issues:

• issue login with github is broken #217 (github login)
• site UI: the indicators and menu (published, paper pipeline, in progress, etc.) don't work well when the browser window isn't very wide, and things work really poorly on mobile
• there are a bunch of card elements (buttons, text) that aren't consistent across modals. we need to unify styling
• the "about" page has gotten out of sync with the actual pipeline
• modals don't render markdown tables correctly
• the buttons on the about page's "How to contribute" section don't work
• the submit idea/review/feedback buttons (mostly) don't work anywhere
• the github labels have gotten cluttered; there are many unused labels that could use cleanup (e.g., issue labels)
• go through other active issues and see if there are other small tasks that can be farmed out to sub-agents.

some of these will need careful planning; this should be done with sub-agents too. try to keep the main thread clean so we don't get too distracted with these "side quests".

Partial progress on one sub-item via the #294 audit remediation (spec 021): "the 'about' page has gotten out of sync with the actual pipeline" — the review-stage descriptions emitted into projects.json still described the abolished points threshold ("Acceptance requires both the points threshold and an accept verdict…", "Human reviews count double") and the About text named the wrong fast model ("Gemma 3 27B" vs the registry's google.gemma-4-31B-it). Both fixed at the source (src/llmxive/web_data.py, web/index.html), projects.json regenerated, and a guard test (tests/unit/test_config_consistency.py) now fails CI if point-system language or prose↔registry model drift reappears. The other UI/UX and label-cleanup items here remain open.
