Clicking on the New tab closes the app

Expected Behavior

When I click on the New icon, I expect the app to load news posts from Steemians

Actual Behavior

When I clicked on the New tab, the app closed

How to reproduce

• sign in
• click on new at the top right hand side of the app
• the app will close
