Sax and vocals getting confused

It’s all in the title - so far MDX-NET inst 3 is the best but it could be better. Most of the rest have real trouble with sax phrasing or telling the difference between sax and female vocals.
Any and all thought appreciated

A bit late to your message, but may help others... there's a couple of songs I noticed had the sax cutting out with the default MDX-NET model..

1. Electric Blue by Icehouse
2. Bomb Drop by Less Than Jake

I tried model MB-Roformer-Inst-v2 - No. 1 above still dropped out a bit, but No. 2 worked fine
I then tried model MDX32C-InstVoc HQ - sax came through fine on both songs

Have you tried using MVSEP for the extraction? They have some great model combinations that might handle that sax/vocal crossover much better.
