Yes, this is a conclusion I drew from observing abnormal frame generation times in the game. When the game refresh rate is 144Hz, the frame generation time is usually as high as hundreds of milliseconds. Therefore, this is likely due to redundant frames being dropped, causing the abnormal frame generation time statistics. When the refresh rate is adjusted back to 120Hz, the frame generation time returns to the normal range.
