Plugin causes my PC to Crash

I'm having trouble with the plugin latelly...

When I activate it and go to Yama for example my pc crashes and restarts on its own, it's very annoying and do not know what to do

Can you try using an older Nvidia driver? This one is really rather old, but I know it works: https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/193713/en-us/

Instead of using the older version of the driver I tried one last thing and it's the legacy renderer and so far, no crashes

Legacy renderer does not support sailing unfortunately (many of the objects will be invisible, mainly boats) so watch out for that, might be worth trying to older driver still?

Was experiencing a similar issue only recently after updating the client post leagues release. I operate on two clients and a 3070. Changing one of the clients to the "legacy renderer" fixed the massive wave lag/FPS crashes.

However as Jin noted that does break sailing on the legacy renderer client so isn't a perm fix, just makes dual client playable

Can you share any logs for your crash? We are aiming to deprecate legacy eventually since RL want to remove support for the API that Legacy relies on. So we need as many people running on the new renderer as possible

More context:

• Reproduced across multiple profiles
• Attempted a clean profile - issue persists whenever 117HD is active on the new renderer
• Issue disappears when using Legacy Renderer
• I did not experience this issue prior to the Wednesday client update so the new renderer has been in use for months (dual and triple client) without issues on my system

Its likely the new multi threading, could you try lowering the cpu usage setting on your clients and or turning on power saving mode if its disabled? Both settings are in the 117hd sidebar

I dropped CPU usage from Max to Low, but I’m still experiencing stuttering and large FPS fluctuations. Unchecking multithreaded model processing under "experimentation" didn’t resolve the issue either.
